Meet Rhiannon
Three days before Christmas last year, and five days before her 33rd birthday, Sydney mum Rhiannon received the news she had cancer.
She’d found a lump in her breast during a routine self-check.
Rhiannon was tempted to wait it out to see whether the changes were just part of her menstrual cycle, but her husband Kyle convinced her to follow up with her doctor.
Words from our Mums
We are so grateful. The girls love love love their bears, my eldest made hers a bed. Thank you so much for the beautiful book too, I read it to the girls and tears flowed.
I've never been on the receiving end of support like this and I am so grateful.
Alex
My eldest son was having a very vulnerable week. The book 'Nowhere hair' helped sooth him in knowing we’re not the only ones going through this. I gave my boys their bears last night at bedtime, I recorded a song for them, they were so humbled and touched that it was my voice and I sung the song 🥹 they showed so much gratitude and love to me and didn’t let the bears leave their arms all night.
Joanne
I want to sincerely thank you for your incredible work and unwavering support. The care and compassion you’ve shown have provided me with great comfort, not only easing my mind but also significantly reducing the anxiety I've been experiencing.
Your organization has made me feel that I am not alone in this battle against illness.
