Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) is surveying people diagnosed with cancer in Australia, and carers, to help better understand the lived experience for those with rare or less common cancers.
RCA knows from directly supporting people affected by rare, less common and complex cancers that the challenges can be immense. We know a cancer diagnosis can turn your world on its head.
Now, through the Cancer Lived Experience Survey, we're aiming to gain an even better understanding of what happens before, during and after a cancer diagnosis, during treatment, and the impact of cancer on people and their support networks.
The survey is open to adults (18+) living in Australia who currently have any type of cancer, or have had cancer in the past, as well as people who are or have been the primary carer for an adult with cancer.
The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete online, and all responses are confidential and anonymous.
